17. Seeing these photos makes my heart ache
What a tragic waste.

I ran across this article. It gives a lot of insight into John Kerry's thoughts of * and his war on terrah.

The Trial of John Kerry
By William Rivers Pitt
t r u t h o u t | Perspective

Wednesday 10 December 2003

Here is a small excerpt...

I felt confident that Bush would work with the international community. I took the President at his word. We were told that any course would lead through the United Nations, and that war would be an absolute last resort. Many people I am close with, both Democrats and Republicans, who are also close to Bush told me unequivocally that no decisions had been made about the course of action. Bush hadn?t yet been hijacked by Wolfowitz, Perle, Cheney and that whole crew. Did I think Bush was going to charge unilaterally into war? No. Did I think he would make such an incredible mess of the situation? No. Am I angry about it? You?re God damned right I am. I chose to believe the President of the United States. That was a terrible mistake.?

7. W Follows Babs Bush Philosophy....
during Desert Storm. "Why should she waste her beautiful mind on deaths".

He shows no remorse for the deaths of Iraqi innocents or our military. None at all.

Now if Halliburton or WGI or Bechtel's commerrcial operations in Iraq were disrupted, he'd yell at the top of his lungs. His priorites.

11. Too Bad these pictures did not make it into NYT or WP or USA Today
That would really enrage *. And it would be a gentle way to remind the American electorate how an American President should conduct himself.

Notice the contrast with Kerry's appearance and demeanor and *'s dumb ass too-tight "members only" jacket with his name embroidered.

Kerry looks like a dignified statesman. * looks like a dork.

* has always been, and continues to be an embarrassment to the United States of America. That was most definitely one (but not by any means the only) reason I supported Kerry as Kerry and not just as the ABB candidate.

Kerry's intelligence and dignity as a statesman - as seen in the debates but not in the news media coverage of the campaign - would have made me proud of the POTUS every time he spoke at home or in the world.

20. ...and Bonifaz (the atty for VRI) at Judiciary Hearings
He was also impressive, and so passionate about the cause. I liked his clarification at the Hearings that a SECOND set of Electors would be chosen IF the recount proves Kerry won Ohio.

I also liked his Gandhi quote..."First they....then we win.":kick:

16. Chimp wasn't there, Lizzie, because he is the "Unfeeling" Presidunce.
This man has never had to sacrifice anything in his life. He doesn't care about the cost of human life.

Hopefully, Lizzie, we won't have to miss Kerry for very much longer! Keep the faith!

19. you miss Kerry?
so do I, in fact he was missing in action when we most needed him, on Nov 3. He gave up so easy.

Now several more funerals are going to take place, of Americans, Iraqis, Iranians very soon, etc etc and it's irrelevant if he attends or not.
