Kerry will be in Iraq and a fine Senator and congressman will start things rolling for when he returns.

That's slick, yes indeed thats is clever (Rove should be a trip!)

1. Nope, that was Nov 2. IMO we shouldn't get too het up about Jan 6
Because whether or not Bush is inaugurated, the process of getting the truth out and pursuing justice is going to be a long one. If we allow ourselves to be too upset by Junior's self-serving in-your-face-Poppy party, that might make it harder to keep our spirits up for continuing the fight for consitutional law.

3. Scary times. All the more reason to work to keep up our spirits
We need to give all the support we can to getting truth out and justice done, but if Jan 6 is a heartbreaker and Jan 20 finds us with ** inaugurated, that is all the more reason to keep plugging away at getting the truth out and justice done.

By the way, the word from another thread is that it won't just be representatives that stand on Jan 6.

I hope that turns out to be right. I also hope that there will be Republican congresspeople of integrity that will also assist the fight to uphold democracy in this country. That happened with Watergate.

But whatever happens, this is going to be long haul and the consequences of giving up at any point along it are dire.
