Please contact John McCain
Phoenix and Tucson area activists this week brought information, what they called "hard evidence," and petitions to his office, as well as to Jon Kyl's.

My associate in Phoenix says there's a lot better chance they will see the petitions and other materials if lots of people contact them. He encouraged calls from non-residents, too.

McCain - PHONE: 602-952-2410 FAX: 602-952-8702 EMAIL LINK:

Kyl - PHONE: 602-840-1891 FAX: 602-957-6838 EMAIL LINK:

Despite how you may feel about McCain, both parties and the MSM all defer to him, he remains popular with the public, and he is known to break from the pack now and then.

1. It's worth a shot
If we don't contact him, he won't stand up. So, what do we have to lose by contacting him?

All he can say is no, right?

Message:
Feel free to change this letter or press refresh for a new letter.

The system will automatically add your name and city, state at the very end of your letter.

Dear Senator,

When the electors meet to cast there votes on the sixth of January, several members of the House have already agreed to object to including the votes of the Ohio electors. In order for this objection to be heard, I am asking you to join them.

According to U.S.C. §15, when the results from each of the states are announced, 'the President of the Senate shall call for objections, if any. `Any objection must be presented in writing and `signed by at least one Senator and one Member of the House of Representatives before the same shall be received.`

The American People already know that the presidential election was not conducted in a fair and open manner. We have seen the exit polls and the unbelievably long lines in the minority districts. Ohio is an example of unresolved voter suppression and the lack of a meaningful recount. We need you to step forward and have the courage to demand the truth. If we let dishonesty go without a challenge, we will lose our freedom in America. Please stand up for democracy. Don’t let America become a dictatorship.

Sincerely,
This system will automatically fax your message to the senator of your choice.

2. I wish I could........
but I trust that man less than most of the others. I think he is self-serving and sneaky and will do whatever it takes to advance his own career. He is, above all else, a Republican.

I'll be emailing my Senators again to day. And some that are not my Senators, to encourage them to stand with Rep. Conyers and Democracy.

3. I understand and believe its a stretch, but he is a maverick
We have to go to Democracy with the Senators we have, not the ones we wish we had. :)

Also, I admire the folks in Arizona who are so organized and are in it for the long haul. I want to support them and all the progressives. We are making history with this effort.

But I truly understand your reluctance to have anything to do with McCain.

5. I sent this earlier this week
Dear Senator McCain,

I am not from your state, but I am aware of you and your run for President. It was amazing that George Bush beat you in the primaries. Did you ever wonder why? It's as simple as vote manipulation. Take a look at what has happened around the country, George Bush really didn't win. Take a closer look into Ohio and Florida, and you can get a better idea of what happened. If you need more information, please let me know and I will he happy to provide it to you. Why is it important and why put a stop to it now? Very simply put, you will never have a chance to run for President, because you will never be allowed to win a primary. George Bush is not a Republican, you are. He has twisted the party into something that I can't even recognize. He and his group also have a strangle hold on the elections in this country. The same evidence that said that the election in the Ukraine was fraudulent, has also said that John Kerry won the election.

Please get involved, we are losing our democracy. We can no longer trust our elections, as the owners of the election machine companies have their allegiance to the far right wing of the Republican party. If it is not stopped now, every moderate Republican will be replaced with a Tom Delay or Karl Rove, and the Republican party or our democracy can not survive with those type of people wholly in charge.

I beg of you, please talk to Representative Conyers, support him and our country. It would be nice to see a moderate Republican shining bright as a leader of our country once again.

Sincerely,

XXXX XXXX

I don't trust him either, so I was sneaky too.

zalinda

I know that I have sometimes erroneously lumped all Republicans together with the * fascists. That's not right. True Republicans are as pissed at * and his schemes as any liberal.

edit: Welcome to DU!

6. McCain is p o-ed about incompetence of rumsfeld.
I sent two letters: 1. to support his statement on lack of confidence in dumsfeld, and demand his resignation. Also his duty to the military to see that the most competent people are looking out for their best interest. ie discredit bush administration. 2. Un American election did not include equal protection under the law-the basis of our constitution. (I also mentioned Jeb as prez in '08-the position McCain would like).

PROMOTE DISSENSION IN THE REPUG RANKS!

9. I used to believe in and have respect for John McCain
Then he stuck his nose so far up Dumbya's butt that he could smell through the idiot's nose.

Now, as far as I'm concerned, he's just like the others.

11. And McCain should be reminded...
How Shrub said McCain was probably NUTS from his POW experience in their 2000 primary, and Shrub still had to rig the ballot box to win. AWOL Shrub calling a POW NUTS for actually serving his country, instead of doing community service in Houston, Texas at the beginning of 1973 (same time that Shrub disappeared from his National Guard attendance).

18. Just called McCain's staff in Tempe
Not sure he'll get it by tomorrow, but I called, told them that I did vote for McCain, he should not certify what could not be verified, etc.

Not holding my breath, though, after his stumping for *.
