Boxer will Join Conyers if enough calls

Subject: brookline-announce Barbara Boxer will join Conyers if enough calls!

Please make a call or two to Barbara Boxer's office-- there
is the possibility that she will be the One senator that will
do the right thing and not certify the election-- thus opening
a large and public examination of the election, especially
in Ohio, which, even if it doesn't replace Bush as the
winner of the election, will nevertheless raise the pressure
considerably to have a paper trail and other reasonable
election reforms, so badly needed if we are to have any
semblance of a democracy ongoing -- AH

ps. please send to your friends in CA as well, thanks!

Barbara Boxer will join Conyers if enough calls!

Hi folks.
Barbara Boxer apparently told a group of 20 women meeting with her that if she gets enough people asking her to do it, she WILL be the senator to join Rep. Conyers.
Pease call one of the numbers below -- I just called the toll-free capital switchboard number and operator said Boxer's voicemail there is full!

Please call her and pass the word!!!
ESPECIALLY if you live in California!

Just came from a group which gathered at Senator Barbara Boxer's Office here in Fresno. There were about 20 of us representing Fresno, Visalia, Porterville and Springville. It was awesome since they had to come to Fresno through the rain... We were told that Senator Boxer was willing to be the Senator who will ask for the re-election in Ohio provided she sees numbers. This is a grassroots effort and it depends on each of us to pass this information on. (see below for offices and phone numbers)

Update 2005-1-4 18:41:13 by ssteuer: I neglected to say this came through my ACT action network... there is no link...but Boxer's office has been receptive...

from pontificator comment below: just called the Sacramento office. The person who answered the phone said that Senator Boxer was definitely looking for input on the issue. I stated that I had volunteered extensively for Kerry this election cycle, and would like to see her object to the electoral vote count so that we can more fully investigate evidence of voter suppression that have come to light in recent weeks.

1. I am one of Boxer's constituents, plus I know one of her
Aides. I have been trying to contact her San Francisco office since before 8:00 a.m. this morning PST. The line is constantly busy - can't get through - I will keep trying all day.
