He hasn't given them a formal statement regarding the contest tomorrow, so I just provided a comment that I urged him to stand with Conyers, et al., and for democracy. The woman I spoke to was VERY nice. Next up - Sen Burns - Repub....

on edit: btw, the number is 202.224.2651

1. Thanks for doing this. Whatever happens, we have to keep pushing
...so if things don't go as we hope tomorrow, try to keep your spirits up. We are just in the beginning of this process, and two months -- Nov 3 to Jan 6 -- may not be enough time to convince enough people that massive fraud and disenfranchisement occurred. We have to keep up the pressure to get the truth, get it out, and turn this country back to the path of law.

3. count my call
I just called Max's Billings office. I'm impressed...the guy I spoke with remembered I was an intern in his office 10 years ago! :)

5. Burns
I just faxed a letter to Burns. I told him to please keep an open mind when hearing the evidence on voting irregularities and possible fraud. Think it'll work????

6. I've called a lot
I've called probably a dozen senators. These include Obama, Kennedy, and Boxer. I also called close to that number representatives. I've heard a lot of "yeah, we are considering it" and "we've gotten a lot of these phone calls. Here in New Mexico a gentlemen from Udall's office was VERY receptive and said that he was passing these messages along almost immediately. I don't know that they are being passed immediately, but from his tone I could tell he was passing messages quickly and really wanted to see something big happen. I also have my best friend in Illinois and my girlfriend calling Senators and Representatives. Just thought I would fill you in. I'm trying folks.
