We NEED a Quorum Call !! URGENT
For senators who refused to act, we need to ask that they "at least" make a quorum call tommorrow.

ONLY a senator can do this in joint session.

It can buy us more time, and not require the senator to take any stand except that "this is too important to take up without a quorum."

CALL yourself, email, fax asking this as well.

If you know anyone lobbying senators/reps today. Call them and pass this on.

(please keep kicked - we'll be lobbying tommorrow morning as well.

1. My understanding was that quorum rules were so low as to not apply
Otherwise, the Senators could have walked a long time ago. Is there something different for tomorrow with the quorum rules?

2. A congressman tried to one in 2001 but it must be a senator
sorry, can't name person. But at least it could get a pause.

And get it on the record that even the benefit of quorum is being denied. Sounds bad.
