A Clear Conscience about Tomorrow: 1/6/2005

There's something very odd going on right now in our country.

Michael Moore comes out last night on his website and asks the Senators to challenge.

Kerry's video, although I was initially pissed about it, gives him cover but also raises awareness of the Electoral College tomorrow.

I go in circles on how I feel about Kerry fighting for us vs. keeping a low profile. And although I hate to admit it, if he was charging all the way screaming election fraud, he would have been murdered by the MSM.

Going to Iraq is the crown jewel for him by staying out of the MSM's crosshairs. He is completely out of the picture, but instead of hiding from 11/2, he is out supporting America's troops in the field. Please note this is something our Chimp King has never done since elected.

Now, we also have leaks of Senators potentially challenging. And I do find it very interesting that none of them will come out with a statement saying they won’t challenge. Let the guessing games continue.

I have also called Boxer’s offices twice this week and have gotten very encouraging words from her staff. On the contrary, I called (and finally got through) to Hastert’s office and the staffer was totally freaking as she said she would “give the Speaker my comments”. I got a lot of pleasure in hearing the fear in her voice and the stress she must be going through the past 3-6 hours.

If we all take a step back and think about everything that has been going on today with a clear conscience, I think we can all agree that tomorrow is going to be a historic day.

Too bad I will be on a flight the entire afternoon :( I'll have to check into DU at my connecting airport to see any updates, lol.

Actually, * has been to Iraq at least once -- a year ago Thanksgiving he did his 'serving' dinner to the troops act.

At least three Senators have released statements saying they won't challenge -- Jeffords and Leahy and someone else, I think. They could change their minds -- Conyers' said on Air America today that we were lighting up the DC switchboards. And tomorrow morning I will make MORE calls!
