6. Now that it has started I do feel the love and satisfaction
It's mixed with depression that has been with me since 12/12/2000. But at least there is a debate for the record.

9. I am so afraid of what will happen after....
All the talking heads are saying we will still get * after all this is over :(

Am I misunderstanding? I am a bit of a newbie in watching things this closely.

10. I feel a bit sick to my stomach and am about to cry
listen to this bitch from Ohio. i cant handle this anymore. why didn't more senators stand for us. why dint Clinton and others. I am about ready to just toss my hands up and say there are so few good people in politics it may be too late.

mod delete this post please if its too negative. i just feel sick right now. its obvious there is no justice in this country and not enough people in the party care.

12. I don't think mods delete posts for being negative
:) If they did, there'd be nothing on the board. ;)

I believe this is how it works: A rep stands to object, and if a senator joins, the objection begins the debate. It's a one-to-one ratio. You wouldn't have more than one senator joining a single rep. This doesn't mean no other senators object, or that no other reps objected.

If a senator had not joined Tubbs-Jones, another objecting rep would have stood, and they would have been asked if they had a senator, and on and on.

In other words, we were all a little confused about how this was supposed to happen, but I think this is exactly how it was supposed to work.
