19. REMOVE HIM
get the dead wood out of office immediately!

- petitions for resignations
- recall efforts
- advertisments for resignations
- no confidence petitions
- protest them every time they come back to the state
- etc

If they dont stand up for us now they will never stand up for us. This is it. This is the line in the sand. They are are either with us or they are actively against the american citizenry!

WAKE UP! There is no next time! There is no get them back in 06!

Its about all of us little people being continually manipulated and used by our so called "leaders". They only lead when they have something to gain and are constantly no where to be found when we are in trouble.

They govern us by our consent and we need to step up and take back the reigns of power.

"Government is not reason and it is not eloquence. It is force! Like fire it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master. Never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action." -- George Washington

"If a society is to remain free, its government must be controlled." -- Ayn Rand

**During the Washington Supreme Court oral arguments on Governor Election, Justice Susan Owens spoke for all of us when she responded to attorney Korrel by saying...

"You're looking at it from the point of view of the winner or
the loser - shouldn't we be looking at it from the point of
view of the voter?" The lawyer was left speechless on air
for 20-30 seconds. -- Moments like this are priceless.

25. Compare fed Dems vs. Wash. St. Republicans

Washington state republicans have screamed fraud and the newspapers have reported it dutifully. They're "evidence" is that some provisionals MAY HAVE been counted before a thorough determination of the right to vote was completed. On the other hand, fed Dems stand up and immediately start apologizing. Geez.......

"NORAD lied". The non-response of NORAD and lack of defense of the Pentagon.
Testimony of Sentor Dayton and an interview with Dr. Bowman (Lt. Col. Ret. USAF) by Micheal Kane. He discusses the war games planned that very morning at the exact time the event occured.

Edited on Thu Jan-06-05 02:05 PM by pnorman
Here in Seattle, I've received several phone solicitations for contributions in his behalf. The voice at the other end strongly implied that Dayton was following in the footsteps of Paul Wellstone.

Initial judgements on here at DU (just about the savviest group on this planet) have occasionally turned out to be ill-founded, if not downright wrong. I sincerely hope such to be the case with Dayton, but I'll keep a close eye on him from here on.

38. No, yuck!
Kennedy is a 10 on a 1-10 slimey conservative make up dirt about your opponent scale! Dayton seemed nervous and unrehearsed. He's
probably shocked at what he did and did not say.

He also just got back from Iraq and first learned of the challenge
yesterday. Yah, I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt
because I saw first hand what Kennedy is capable of (he's as
nauseating as Bush, Cheney, Ashcroft and the top vomit inspiring
repugs.

40. I can't BELIEVE some DUers are STILL defending this embarrassment
I guess some people on this board just can't get their heads out of their asses and continue to defend the Repuke-enabler because he has a "D" next to his name on the CSPAN caption. spank:

WAKE UP DEMOCRATS!! :grr:

As I said on another forum, Dayton campaigned as Wellstone II and instead he's become LIEberman II in the Senate. Will you guys forget about his fucking party LABEL and look at the man's RECORD in office? Would you vote for him if you didn't know he was a Dem? He has carved on Iraq, Chimpy's election theft, vote reform, the enviroment, etc., etc. Americans for Democratic Action reports that this guy votes with the Repugs AT LEAST one quarter of the time. And aside from that, HE'S A FREAKIN' IDIOT!!! I was in shock the first time I saw Dayton try to put two words togehter on the Senate floor. Watch any of this man's speeches. I thought only Repugs were THAT mentally inept. We have a fucking RETARD "representing" the Democrat Party in Minnesota. No WONDER the Repugs run the whole state there despite being outnumbered by Dems.

:argh:

We need to work on a primary challenger to Dayton NOW. If this loser is renominated in 2006, I will support a third party candidate, probably Green. I am sick of hearing it is the fault of Democrat voters if a WEAK candidate gets nominated and loses because he did not EARN our vote. Would I rather have "Kennedy" in that Senate seat? Hell YES -- if you can get ROBERT F. KENNEDY JR. to move to Minnesota and challenge him, I'll all for it!!

What the Dayton apologists don't realize is the little spineless retard ONLY won his seat because he was LUCKY enough to have a repug opponent even WEAKER than he won. He won't have that luxery in 2006. Run a BETTER Democrat, or lose the seat. It out of my hands. Simple as that.

41. Sorry, I need to correct you
MARK Kennedy! The vile republican who had to resort to
slinging mud at Patty Wetterling, this past election, in order
to win. You should really get your facts straight before you
go off on these angry rants.

His style of speech is irrelevent and referring to someone
as a RETARD...I won't even say it, but it is offensive. You
obviously have no respect, or consideration for unfortunate
people who happen to be retarded or their families.

Yes, you just managed to really piss me off.

Thank you in advance for your pledge, bill of rights. Senator Boxer deserves tons of support and adoration at this website for her actions today. As of right this minute, I'm not sure how I feel about the rest of our Democratic senators, even the ones who spoke today. In the end, Boxer stood alone. And we need to show the rest of the party what this means to us. If anyone has any suggestions...leave a message here...or send me an email.

Peace
