2. How about this for an idea?
Why not restrict your buying to companies, large or small, who do not donate to either political party. They just do business. If they're good, patronize them more. If they don't, don't shop there. And politics doesn't even enter into it. What a concept.

if you haven't already.

http://www.ecomall.com is a clearinghouse of ecologically friendly on-line stores, large and small.

The site has a search utility and a magazine ("Green Living"), as well as some other features (such as a list of vegetarian restaurants in each state).

I've found some neat stores through there.
