Fantasy Moment: How awesome would it be......

For those of you old enough (or have seen All The President's Men......), think back to Watergate for a moment.... how it started slowly, then when it began to turn, how it morphed into a sort of domino effect, one thing bringing down the next, until Nixon was left with no choice but to resign or be impeached, then arrested. I mean, Ford had to PARDON him to keep him out of prison!

So - with that in mind, and our little "incident" on Thursday, which much to my surprise, actually made it into the MSM... and with more evidence coming to light day by day.... here is my fantasy:

Jan 20th turns ugly. Streets are choked with protesters, people are ENRAGED. But * gets his little coronation, which even more $$ is spent than is planned due to the need for extra security. But because of so many protesters, etc., many who are planning on attending the fete do not, some because they simply cannot get in due to the amount of protesters.... This time the MSM cannot ignore the sheer masses of humanity showing up to voice their disapproval and anger. It turns into a MAJOR story in the International Press to the point the MSM here cannot ignore it - it's a major money maker like Scott Peterson. It morphs into the major fraud story of the century. Even GOP whistle-blowers, scenting their own individual gravy trains in selling their stories, come out of the woodwork like a plague of locusts. The dam has broken, and there is no stopping the torrent of proof and evidence rushing into mainstream consciousness. Only this time, it won't be just the Commander in Chief, but nearly everyone in the Executive Branch along with operatives like DeLay in Congress as well... hell we might even be so lucky as to catch a few of the bad seeds in the USSC as well who installed this gang of criminals in the first place.....

Pretty awesome...

Investigative journalism is a shadow of the "Woodward and Berstein era." Republican/Conservative control or the media through law and ownership has choked the life out of our "Return to Watergate dream."

To be nice about it enough Americans have been fattened on the Limbaugh view of the world where Iokiyar -- it's O.K. if you're a Republican -- is the rule.

I see physics being the only thing turning the cancerous tide of Republican /Facism like an Earthquake driven Tsunami it will happen.

because we all know it ain't a gonna happen. Republicans to the right of me, Republicans to the left of me. Republicans on the firing line. . . and now we're hemmed in by enemy fire.

but Circles Of Fire can be far more powerful to the ones in the center, and the ones on the outside can be engulfed by the their own conflagration.......

I don't think it will happen either, but it doesn't stop me from WANTING IT REEEEEAAAALLLLY BAD!

...and actually it's not too farfetched, except I think it's going to take a little bit longer. I do definitely see this whole house of cards tumbling in the not too distant future. Naysayers have given up on democracy and the power of the people, and I find that very sad indeed.
