Tee shirt Ideas

Hi fellow DUers,
I am a screenprinter in my off time in the construction trades.

I was at a wrestling tourny for my kids yesterday and was checking out everyones tee shirts and an idea poped into my head.

I want to make up some Tee shirts and need some catchy sayings .

I like Bush Cheated 2004 I`ve seen it around anyone know the owner of the original artwork ? I think these would look awesome on the front or back.

I can produce alot of these at a very low cost, I do it out of my house. If I do a 2 or 3 color design one side of shirt I can probably do them for about $4 dollars a piece.

I think if theres one way for publics attention its a BRIGHT tee that screams out your message.

Posting the tees on someone web would help spread the word too.

Anyone willing to help me out on getting a web with an order page ?

You don't need a web page, just go to http://www.cafepress.com and start from there. I can't give you instructions how to set up over there because I've never done it, but that's where a lot of people sell their wares. Cafe Press handles all the billing and et cetera, I think. Your price would have to be higher, but for a t-shirt the going price is at least $15 anyway.

And do sell childrens sizes. I think thats an untapped market.

I actually saw a small version in some DUers sig. If you do BUSH CHEATED you may want to get a Bush Cheney bumpersticker to scan. I had to use a web image and when I resampled the image to 300 dpi the Bush part has jagged edges.

I of course perfer to remain totally anonymous, I have no interest in being shipped to Gitmo...

I also like the little rhyme I wrote for GWB is a PAB version 2.0

I`m not looking to make money on these. As you can see by the price I will offer them for. I just want to expose bush to the public as much as possible.

How about PAPERLESS VOTING ENDANGERS DEMOCRACY or something like that. And then, maybe direct them to a website which is writteN in smaller text at the bottom. This website could be a one page with links and the basic voting issues spelled out.

after further thought.... HUMOR is the way to go. CLEVER HUMOR is always better.

I've been working on this for some time. Three of these are all mine, the fourth adapted from a posting I saw on the web. I use them for posters in demonstrations and cards to politicians.

In my own everyday life, I'm wearing an orange scarf to signal my belief that we should get a re-vote like the Ukraine did. If large numbers of people started showing up everywhere wearing orange, it could be like the long hair and distinctive clothes we wore as hippies. Tiny orange ribbons are good, but not enough. I want Republicans to feel surrounded by people who know about the fraud, and to remind everyone that Bush has no mandate and should be thwarted when he takes egregious actions like nominating a supporter of torture to be Attorney General.

I like that one because it rhymes and it fits all categories of voting systems in use in the US.

DREs had almost nothing to do with the fraud in OH, as 70% of the votes were punch card, not paperless, yet still counted by secret software developed by private comapnies that favor the GOP.

There's one over an overpass that reads fraud with a box checked next to it, I don't think the slogans are copyrighted since they're anonymous, One says "I attacked America on 9/11 and all I got was away with it." Diebold only counted the vote in about two of the counties in Ohio, so even they are a lovely poster child for everything that's wrong with vote counting, they are not the ultimate problem in Ohio.

a shirt could say "i'm not fooled by election fraud". this could go on the back of a shirt, maybe the front could have the 'bush cheated' logo.
