People need to learn to conduct and participate in an effective protest. If this report is true...very sad and non-productive for our cause.

It's almost always the police who start the violence.

They are just following the example set by our President.
They police looked liked they were gonna get violent, the crowd just preempted them.

But here are two questions.....
If you had the power to order a preemptive on the Japanese naval forces
the week before Pearl Harbor, and you also had the intell. to convince you it was imminent, would you order the attack?

If you knew Thomas Jefferson in 1775, would you advocate not taking up arms against the British?

In my opinion these are events in history that necessitated the use of force, unlike the incompetence and arrogance of the current administration in their handling of Iraq.

As for your two examples, I do think the term "imminent" is important when considering Pearl Harbor. So we have no argument there.

As for the TJ in 1775 scenario, I don't think the analogy fits. The American Revolution should be considered as we defending against an invading force. Any taking up of arms was not an invasion, but a defense of our soil...IMO.

I do not normally advocate violence, but would support it in defense of my rights. Or more specificly...if a group of people found a way to steal the Presidency OTUS, I would advocate any means that were necessary in order to reveal their designs and actions.
