Weird question about contacting Kerry...
My dad is a supporter of the swift boat veterans for truth (the shame of it!) and he called me yesterday to gloat about some weekend retreat that they had which ended with them deciding to form a coalition to take further action against John Kerry....It is the ultimate in ridiculous to me. I wonder if there is a way for me to contact the Kerry campaign still (even though the election is over)so that I can provide them with the information that I have.

He still has it up and running and the contact area is still available. Good luck.

2. Go straight to Kerry via fax AND phone.
He needs the information ASAP. so he can coordinate an effort to thwart it. Man, they must be really scared of him to go to all this trouble! You can find Kerry's info on Congress.org. I actually don't think it would be a bad idea to PUBLICIZE what you know if it is indeed inflammatory toward the thugs but see what Kerry wants to do first!

4. Why are they targeting him now?
They wanted him to lose and he lost. This sounds more like a ridiculous grudge vendetta. Hey Swiftboat liars, get over it. I am sorry to hear your dad is one of them.

9. that's how you know who they are afraid of
all you need to do is watch who they are attacking and smearing. So that means that they know John Kerry remains a threat--and they are very correct. ;)

Maybe it means they know Kerry is up to something very damaging to the Fascist cause.

They have heard of freedom of speech . . . haven't they? What's treasonous about coming home and trying to end the war? No offense to the rest of the original poster's family, but these people are morons.

27. One of them is also going to move to MA supposedly to run
against him in the senate...
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=158x2676

"WASHINGTON (Reuters) - With thousands of Republican faithful cheering the inauguration of President Bush (news - web sites) to a second term on Thursday, a group of veterans at the forefront of the "Swift Boat" campaign banded quietly to salute their part in thwarting the candidacy of Sen. John Kerry (news - web sites).

"Swift Boat guys were not unified in supporting George Bush (news - web sites). Many were independent or many were Democrats. The only point of union was that they did not want John Kerry to be president," Jerry Corsi, co-author of "Unfit for Command," said in an interview after a luncheon at the National Press Club.
snip
Corsi said the effort against Kerry would not subside even though the election ended nearly three months ago.

He said he plans to move to Massachusetts from New Jersey this year, establish residency and challenge Kerry for Senate in 2008. Kerry has not divulged his political plans. "

32. Isn't Corsi a real embarassment to the Swift Boat Liars
From The Raving Atheist web site...A book critical of John Kerry's war record was written by "a virulent anti-Catholic bigot," the Democratic presidential nominee's campaign has charged. Jerry Corsi, co-author of "Unfit for Command," has also been forced to apologize for anti-Muslim, anti-Semitic and homophobic remarks he posted on a right-wing online forum. The Kerry campaign called Corsi's Web chat postings "disgusting," and spokesman Chad Clanton said that "t says something about the smear campaign against John Kerry that it has stooped to enlist a hatemonger."

16. Republicans cannot exist without hate
It is their fulcrum. Sad to say, the same goes for DINOs. Seems like they're all trying to outdo one another in going after Kerry. Just a buncha Nixonites who never "got over it."

Never ever say "Swift Boat Vets for Truth." They are Swift Boat Liars," end of story. I don't care what they call themselves. I can wear a red cape, but it doesn't make me Little Red Riding Hood, does it?

Sorry about the poster's dad. Bummer. Families can be so inconvenient x(

He started screaming at me about how his buddies from vietnam were his friends, his buddies were his brothers...his buddies were not Gingus Kahn...:nuke: and then when I told him that atrocities DID happen in vietnam and they were perpetrated by some but certainly not all or most US soldiers, he screamed "he is a fucking liar" and hung up on me....

Ahhhh...the family dysfunction lives on.

22. Lots of great responses but know this...
It is a different world than post 70s Vietnam. These fools are living in a dream world for their hate. Say "Jane Fonda" to your father and see what happens. Suddenly it is all her fault that we sent our young people to die in Vietnam for nothing. It is all her fault that it was the wrong war and our soldiers suffered for that. It is all Jane Fonda's fault that war prisoners were tortured. She might even be more culpable than Condi-liar Rice or Albert Gonzales. She didn't need to write a memo disabling the Geneva Conventions to endorse the abuse of war prisoners. But she can still be blamed, just ask your father, for the torture of POWs in Vietnam.

Let them have their Low-Self-Esteem convention. And know that you will not be doing anything so pathetic with your old age since you are standing up for the truth right now.

on why it is necessary and right to take care of that dangerous, evil, bad, nuclear Iran.

So they stay busy on many fronts. That Rove is busy. No wonder he says he won't be coordinating a national campaign ever again--he doesn't have to.
