It will only happen if we get a majoirity in the house and we need to start now. Next year will be to late. Get together with Dems or progressives in your area and lay the groundwork iven if you don't know who the candidate will be. Make the issues the issue. Healtthcare, Social Security, Sanity in trade and foreign policy. Talk up the issues. We need to outdo the spinmeisters.

Just keep talking and don't hold your tongue. We outnumber them but they have the bully platform. We need to take that away.

If we get a Democratic majority in the House in 2006 impeachment papers will be drawn. The House will have authority to investigate, and influence to present evidence the press WOULD report on.

With public attention on the subject, the Senate would be forced to act. If the evidence was compelling, even committed Republicans would be forced, in the glare of public opinion, to side with the evidence.

How?

Even Republicans don't trust these machines anymore. We need to take a page from the Bush disinformation campaigns and keep pressure on the idea of these machines, and our election system in general being untrustworthy.

There may come a time, maybe soon, where we need to redirect our efforts, financial and intellectual, from Ohio and to the future.
