4. Done
What is WRONG with these people? 44% would prefer a paper ballot while almost 56% prefer the touch screen? I am a techie, but it does not take a techie to see that these machines are dangerous if only for the fact that they are refusing to divulge the way they count the votes! But take it from a techie who knows a little about how these machines can be manipulated: it can happen, it has happened and it will happen in the future. How would they like it if these machines got into the control of Dems??? These machines are not a good toold for democracy and they are a crappy definition of what a true democracy is all about.

Talk about shooting yourself in the foot!

9. Considering how small the sample is
A few Diebold employees could be the entire pro touch-screen vote.

17. Does the touch screen work?
Edited on Tue Mar-21-06 04:36 PM by veness
Hi. I tried to vote, and may or may not have! There is no 'Vote Now' button. I only see a button that when clicking it one goes to the poll's sponsors.

One more case in which touch screen voting doesn't work?!

Here are the results so far:

Would you prefer using a touch-screen machine to vote?
No, I prefer a paper ballot 51.34%
Yes 48.66%
Total Votes: 670

22. No Poll -- must have been removed
Just got home and read this. Poll couldn't have been up very long. A question about library usage is there instead. Darn... my vote can't even get counted in a poll let alone a voting machine!
