If we want to keep CA, we need to get Debra Bowen elected.

I just accidentally spoke to her campaign manager, Sandra, when I called to ask a few questions and to thank her for staying on top of election reform.

Can this forum help me think what we can do for her?

She needs money and probably a lot of other things, like press and volunteers.

I'm not even a Democrat but I want to work for this lady. She has been giving better than she gets on election reform and, if we want CA, that's what we need. She has not backed off and that's more than refreshing, it's admirable.

Thoughts, anyone? Could we invite her to talk to us here? Or?

1) Join the campaign.

2) Contribute.

3) Volunteer.

Some folks are good at writing letters to the editor (even if they DO occasionally get a line edited out.);-) So, LTTE could be another step.

And it is this: there is a possibility that the Goebbels Memorial Media Branch would be happy to harangue her for coming into our wacky lair to chat. They could lift oddish, or so-called "conspiracy nut" posts and smear her campaign by association. Hell, they could even take any one of my posts for that purpose.

And crap could even be planted here by opposing campaign operatives just so it could be lifted for a smear.And who would be the wiser?

The corporate media has on a number of occasions tried to paint DU as something other than what it (mostly) is.

In all objectivity, if I were a campaign manager I'd not recommend it.

But than as a general rule, I'm really, really paranoid.
