Three Cheers to the Election Reform Forum!! Hip, Hip, Hooray!
We have been called crazy. Told we are conspiracy theorists; tin-foil hatters. Said to be wrong, wrong, wrong, time and time again.

But little by little the truths we have pulled from the hiding places from a thousand different sources, are now headlining all the big media pages. We read it all here, first.

The rest of the country is catching up with us.

There have been many who have come here, trying to divert our attention from our goal and to convince us to stop fighting a lost cause. They have said the polls were wrong, the election was not stolen, the machines are ok.

They said they read the evidence, but did not believe. But the cause now has many more believers than there was on Nov. 3, 2004. We are gaining on them.

We have seen many, many, good, strong democrats come and go from this forum, and to those no longer with us, I bid you a hearty thanks for your efforts and hope you are all just fine. but know this: we do miss you.

To those still here, I pledge my allegiance as we carry on, and offer you my grattitude for sticking with us, and Never Giving Up!

1. seems like things began to break this winter
but yeah -- it wasn't easy those first few months after the election. the tin foil hat thing was insulting. that should be kept in mind as the phrase is used in reference to other TRUTH movements.

this november is the acid test. i would love to know what has changed in the last two years and what remains -- you know... a nationwide status report.

in the meantime...

the polls are meaningful. yes they are. the machines are failing. we have proof of that. our eyes are a little more open than in 2004. but that won't ensure a fair election.

guess i'm cautiously pessimistic.

4. Gawd - those first few months were tough
Emotionally draining with frustration mounting every time a new piece of the puzzle arrived, those exhausting days are now in the rear view mirror, eh?

I have no idea what will come this November, but am thinking our efforts are going to pay off. The machines are practically in quarratine, what with all the widespread knowledge of the inherent man-made capabilities of miscalculations built into them. Look how many more people now know the truth about those machines.

As proof, about half the states have passed laws requiring a VVPB. The other half will come next year. HAVA is becoming better understood and Will Be Changed.

Things have moved a great deal due, in part, imo, to this forum. But yes, there is much yet to be done. We can't be resting on our laurels.

Good to see your moniker grace this thread, Nashville Brook. NGU!

5. Read it here first!
Indeed.

There is not enough thanks to go around, and not enough personal memory to properly thanks all those whose research contributed to the greatness of this forum.

I played only a very minor player in that research, but have read a great deal of it and just want to say thanks to all those who have delivered.

You, Melissa, being one of those grand participants. Thanks!

8. Hip hip, hooray!
Deep thanks to the members of this forum.

In early November 2004 this was the only place where people (including my family and closest friends) didn't think I was delusional.

Okay, maybe I was delusional, but not about the election: it was stolen.

:)

11. Yes. This forum kept me from losing sanity
especially the many months after 2004, and I learned a great deal, and found a great place filled with great people.

:hi:

and yes Andy must be feeling great!

the fight goes on - we have so many more machines than in 2004 - so much more to watch over - but we'll nip it in the butt

12. What a crew! The best damn people you'll ever meet...

The election was stolen or the laws of science were suspended for one day in November. Gee, which could it be.

I'm tireless on this issue. It's invigorating th move forward and find more and more confirmation that election theft is alive, well, and influencing our nation and the world. Despite looking into the abyss, I feel better about my country than ever before. We can have real democracy here at some point. We've been a bit lax in the past, not caring about the county next door or across the country as long as we feel secure. In the 60's, people all over America were outraged by voting rights violations in Alabama, Mississippi, etc. Things changed quickly due to public suupport. We start at a disadvantage compared to that period...the press has become part of the government-corporate axis of "socialism for the rich and free enterprise for the poor." Our case is compelling, but the copy has been "spiked."

Not for much longer, I suspect. ERD work, TIA's and everyone elses, was a critical (perhaps, the critical) factor in starting the upheaval about election 2004 and has been there for Hackett 2005, the Ohio special measures, countless primaries, board meetings, government reports, etc.

I'm proud to be associated with the hard core, biter enders here who are not taking bogus solutions fabricated by proxies for the elite; and who attack issues using reality based critical analysis rather than acaddmic or professional hero worship in order to forumlate their positions.

BeFree, great thread K&R
