VIDEO - Robert Kennedy Explains 2004 Stolen Election to Tucker Carlson

Tucker Carlson hosted Robert F. Kennedy Jr. last night on MSNBC's The Situation. Kennedy has written an extensive new article in which exposes how the the Republicans planned, coordinated and executed a plan to subvert the will of voters and put George Bush back in the White House.

As usual, Carlson conducts the interview with the attention span and intellect of a 3-year old (and that may be an insult to 3-year olds). Before Kennedy is allowed to speak, Tucker begins pulling out thinly veiled Republican and corporate media talking points designed to halt any post-election debate. In his lead-in, Tucker says, "Is it really possible that a conspiracy of this magnitude has been kept quite this long." Seconds later, turning to Robert Kennedy, Tucker asks, "You are alleging a massive (Carlson's emphasis) conspiracy to, as you put it, fix the 2004 election. A conspiracy of this size would have required the complicity of literally thousands of people. Why have none of those people come forward to admit they were part of it."

By ignoring the evidence and repeatedly putting together words like "conspiracy" and "massive", Tucker uses one of the first and favorite talking points for those wishing to discourage the truth about Republican electioneering. Tucker implies that a conspiracy to steal a presidential election is logistically impossible. Anyone who believes such theories are irrelevant "crack pots", internet kooks, partisans and wear tinfoil hats to block out the mind control signals.

Tucker's next trusty talking point minimizes the evidence: "I have no doubt -- and I don't think that anybody would -- that there were voting irregularities in this election as there are in any election. Probably some crookedness, again, as there are in any election ." Carlson is implying that liberals, frustrated by Kerry's loss, are blowing normal election imperfections way out of proportion.

Tucker Carlson continued an assault on Kennedy and his article throughout the short interview. Kennedy fights for time to respond and does a good job indicting the media (and Tucker) for ignoring a very obvious problem. Tucker responds by saying that if the stolen election were real then it would have been a news story -- as if truth and reality only exists if the media reports on it.

In the end, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., managed to remain poised and believable. This interview alone may have done little to prove to MSNBC's viewers that there is significant evidence of a stolen election -- but the piece did prove one thing to us: Tucker Carlson is a complete ass.

7. Actually, Tucker is quite the nimble shill - Kerry/Edwards collusion
are heavy talking points for them. "Why aren't they complaining?" Indeed. Why? Busy collecting money for another pretend run.

4. We had local problems, that all went republican
Luckily Wisconsin went for Kerry but all these little discrepancies help bush get the "popular" vote.

-Shawano county clerk gave bush 100 extra votes - 400 verses 300 and claimed it was a mistake.

-Wausau had two young men roaming the downtown registering people and turned in only the republican registrations. While we can register at the polls if you think you are registered you won't bring the required proof to re-register at the polls.

And this is just central Wisconsin

I know that during the 2000 election the young republicans in Madison WI dress in khaki's and polo shirts carried clip boards and stood outside the polls mainly used by college students. They stopped students outside the polls and turned them away. They told these potential voters that they needed to vote in there hometowns and were ineligible to vote in their college towns.

8. I have registered quite a few voters.
Here is how a legitimate partisan voter registration campaign works. You get the registrations of the people in your own party and submit them to the registrar's office. You help people from the other party register, but you tell them to mail their own registration forms in. That way they cannot accuse you of cheating or failing to return your form. Remember that. IT will be very important in the next election.

11. I was thinking:
if the right tries this again I will have some friends register with these guys, take a picture and if the registrations disappear, taking legal action.

5. Kerry's collusion is their major talking point (hey, Edwards, wanna fight?
Now would be a good time to open your mouth).
The fact that the press didn't cover it is quite ridiculous as by now everyone is convinced about the role of the press in this country. But Kerry & Edwards are actively subverting the truth by their silence.

SPEAK UP, DAMN IT!!!!!!

25. Kerry has been saying again and again there was fraud.
(starting Jan 05). He has been stating it many many times. What he has also been saying is that he cannot prove that the election was stolen.

You may not like that, but it is the truth.

Tucker is just a shill ...... the corporate media is busy keeping the lid on this

13. The lid is coming off this story
As BushCo's popularity plummets, the side effect is that more and more people are able to muster the courage to come forward.

I'm thrilled to see the article in Rolling Stone. It's as close to M$M as this story has gotten and Kennedy clearly says that the election was stolen and despite Tucker Carlson's constant harping to the contrary, Kennedy makes a good case that it had to be deliberate fraud.

That's nothing new around here, but getting it into a national publication is a big deal.

He can be the Woodward Bernstein Murrow of out time.

We just need to help him out by sending him all of our links, research about the stolen election.

What a weasel. No revelation there. RFKjr held his ground, was well prepared, refused to get overtalked and it is really a shame his voice is so bad. Does he have parkinson's disease? He's got that telltale quiver.

18. Kennedy did good, but Tucker made the essential point ....
Where are our aggrieved parties? That would be the candidates, and to a lesser extent, the party.

While we have some very brave truthtellers involved in uncovering all the shit from all the slimy little hiding places ...... where are our **aggrieved parties**?

Also, I saw this question asked in several other rlplies to this thread .... what is wrong with Kennedy's voice?

19. How Democrats screw themselves, part 37,511,389
Kerry, as did his predecessor Gore, took the advice to 'be responsible' and not push the election fraud issue. As a consequence of that bad advice, doled out no doubt by the usual gang of beltway consultants, Kerry opened the door to Carlson's spin. We do this all the time. Our leaders outsmart themselves at every turn, endlessly convincing themselves to hold back, to not object, to not fillbuster, to not speak the truth, to not take risks while the other side is dismantling what is left of the facade of the republic.

However, the response to Fucker Carlson is: the citizens of Ohio are the aggreived parties Mr. Carlson, it was THEIR votes that were stolen.

22. No lesser extent for the party
I would argue that it is the party's responsibility to ensure the vote is counted, correctly.

But just look at the DNC whitewash of Ohio report that came out last year.

At the close of the election, Kerry looked around and saw that he was all alone on getting the count right, so he's doing what he can do, and that was to quietly file lawsuits.

Had the party, then, right after the election, with the same info as we have today taken a stand against the crime, we'd be almost done with this sad part of our history.

It is time for the party of JFK, to take up the works of RFK, and end it, once and for all.

Kerry said "Count every vote", but the party didn't listen, or help.

With friends like that, who needs an enema? <grin>

23. Sent this to Tucker...
...Mr. Carlson,

How dare you be so rude to Robert Kennedy Jr. on your show. HE IS THE SON OF ROBERT F. KENNEDY and NEPHEW OF PRESIDENT JOHN F. KENNEDY. I don't care if he is discussing Martians landing on top of the White House...he is deserving of more respct than you gave him on your show! He happens to also have an EXCELLENT case about the 2004 Election...statistically...corroborated by Steven Freeman and Lou Harris (Harris Poll), documented by the GAO and Congressman John Conyers and others, that deserves media coverage. And Senator Kerry has never said the election was stolen...but he's been in court, he has been concerned, and he HAS said he's been unable to prove it.Why hasn't this received more attention by the media??? Maybe Brittany has had a motherhood 'goof'again today.

:grr:

27. Love the part where Tucker talks about the "popular will of the people."
He alleges that Bush won by over 3,000,000 votes, so therefore, the popular will of the people was not usurped.

Of course, he receives a history lesson about the Electoral College (in terms of Ohio) from Kennedy.

So it only takes four or so years to forget about "Get over it, Sore-Loserman!"

:wtf:

Tucker Carlson became irrelevant the moment Jon Stewart took him to the mat.
