10. Please. That would be great.
I'm just a volunteer, but will try to describe the program. Judy Alter, of the parallel elections has 14 volunteers, needs 2 more, for specific precincts to watch the vote tally tomorrow night from 7:30 till 10 or 11 PM. In addition, after that, she and I will be at norwalk watching the final tally. citizens watching is all at this point. quietly watching. But this injunction and the distribution of wrong ballots makes me think tomorrow is going to be quite a day, and if anyone would like to help, here is my email address: robingibson@sbcglobal.net
(I dint' want to put phone numbers out on the internet, so if they contact me, I'll get them in touch with the right person.
nothing available in west LA (a lot of people ask that). The areas we're going to were chosen randomly, and are in san gabriel, norwalk, southgate, and san dimas. At least those are the locations lacking enough volunteers.

thank-you!

8. Excerpts:
A last-minute Election Eve compaint has been filed in a Los Angeles courtroom within the hour calling on LA County's registrar of voters, Conny B. McCormack to immediately remove Diebold elecronic voting machine tabulators, said to have illegal access to the Internet as well as uncertified tabulation software, from counting rooms at the county's main facility in Norwalk, The BRAD BLOG has learned.

The plaintiffs in the case are Cindy Asner (wife of actor Ed Asner) and Cynthia Henderson, LA County Chair of the Peace and Freedom Party.

The emergency filing, being heard at this hour, is based on an affidavit filed today by Green Party election system inspector, John Wenger, a PhD and retired software engineer from Northrup Grumman who has been tracking LA County's use of electronic voting machines over the past month along with several other inspectors from both the Green and Democratic parties. The BRAD BLOG spoken at length with Wenger over the weekend, and has reviewed a draft version of his declaration being filed with the suit. We hope to have the final version of the declaration and the entire suit posted online here shortly. We'll update this item when it becomes available.

{snip}

The race is an important one to Election Integrity advocates since state senator Debra Bowen is running in a primary race in hopes of winning the Democratic nomination to take on Republican CA Sec. of State Bruce McPherson who has been a supporter of vulnerable electronic voting machines, including Diebold's, in the state. As well, the LA County Registrar of voters, Conny B. McCormack has been a long-time supporter of Diebold and their election equipment and has even been featured, via photograph and endorsement, on promotional brochures distributed by the controversial Ohio company.

11. And, if you read the whole thing, a voter was given the wrong ballot as
well. he went to vote for marci winograd and her name was not on the ballot. the number was, but he was voting for waxman, i.e. in the wrong precinct. And Waxman happens to be an unchallenged democrat, so removing a vote for marci that way just happens to be a vote further to the right. I never check, i always take my bookklet with my numbers chosen, and punch in those numbers. Apparently that is not good enough. triple check your votes!
(The voter in quesition happens to be an eleciton protection advocate. I'll bet most people wouldn't notice...)

15. It's a great opportunity, one more to make a dent in the armor.
Bowen you knew would be targeted, just as they targeted the election referenda in OH in 05, flipping the results.

It sounds like the reaction here might be enough to get a court response.

Pray and Work like heck to bring it about.

Good luck. The rest of the country could really benefit from your effort whatever happens.

17. the judge did not give them the injunction.
he didn't understand what they were talking about. there were 18 computers in the central tabulating room with gems2 diebold software, not approved for use, and the judge thought that they would only pose a problem if there were a "bad" person who actually wnated to connect those computers to the tabulator.
in addition there was a modem attached to the internet and the tabulator.
