Fitrakis to give details on '04 Miami Co OH discrepancy on AAR @ 11pm est
Bob Fitrakis will be a guest on Laura Flanders (filling in on the Mike Malloy show) at 11 pm est with new details on the investigation into Miami County Ohio's 2004 election. I mentioned last Tuesday that Fitrakis and Richard Hayes Phillips have been investigating Miami County OHio where there was a precinct with over 98% voter turnout, as well as an additional 19,000 votes coming in after 100% of the precincts were reported. They found signficant discrepancies in the votes and absentee ballots. New details will be provided tonight.

1. Thank you for posting this, Mod Mom

I have just been reading more of Greg Palast's book, it is so sad when it talks of Iraq,
and how the neocons wanted at least a year long war with no empowerment of the Iraqi people
so they could sell off the major assets of the country in a "privatization" effort; which
was to outsource the assets to foreign investors and global corporations. It is so sad, how
anyone believes that 2004 was not stolen is beyond me.

2. Tune in tonight for the ballot-box stuffing story
Hi. A million thanks to mod mom for starting this thread. Bob Fitrakis and Richard Hayes Phillips have found several different kinds of evidence of vote count fraud in Ohio's rural Republican counties. These include explanations for how more than 10,000 people apparently votes for gay marriage and for Bush... how it was done.. and some of the first real evidence of central tabulator vote count fraud. The local BOE officials blame it on the boys scouts and mentally retarded people... You think I'm making this up...

3. Excellent details. I just got off a conference call w Bob and didn't have
more details. He said he would try to write it up later for the Freepress.org. Isn't there a big discrepancy with absentee ballots as well? You gotta love the boyscout angle. Where does the buck stop with these crooks? It's never their fault-is it?

4. absentees... in Ohio in 2004
It's funny. In most of the research we did in Ohio in 04, we didn't really focus on absentee ballots. The stuff Bob has found is really the first look at the ballots since the November 2004. Ohio only recounted 3 percent of the ballots, and those were hand-picked precincts - to hide the voter fraud...

The breaking absentee ballot story I'm following is the news that GOP operatives flew into San Diego 3 days before the Busby-Bilbray vote and somehow found 10,000 absentee voters, accordiong to the LA Times. So that's the story they're following, not the county election officials who took electronic voting machines home before the election!

5. vote count fraud
that's not too bad. i usually correct people and ask them to say election fraud, but i kinda like this phrase too. it least it puts the emphasis on the 'counting' of the votes, and not the voters.
oh, don't mind me :hi:
