Our View: Vote of no confidence
CRAIG DAILY PRESS

Craig — For the most part, journalists enjoy breaking stories

SNIP...Still, the timing of Coffman’s announcement is questionable, and the communication from the secretary of state to the state’s to the clerk and recorders is out and out laughable.

But this is not the worst part of the current scenario.

All of these problems, added to the very reason Coffman had to look into the situation — questions about the voting system — are turning the very foundation of our country into a joke.

We are America. We are supposed to be the leaders of the free world, promoters of democracy, even if in a republic form.

SNIP...Don’t get us wrong, we like to break the news, but we don’t like to see the very fabric of our country broken.
