This is from a list I'm on - just passing it on.FYI,
I did a paired-precinct analysis (precincts of the same size) of the
NH Republican Primary Election to test the Republican machine vs. hand
counted patterns.
The effect of machine counts CAN be explained by precinct-size in the
NH Republican Primary election. i.e. The advantage to Romney in the
machine counts evaporates when precincts of the same size are
compared.
Hence only the NH Democratic primary machine vote counts looks
suspicious, not the NH Republican primary counts.
I added some table and text to my paper to explain that the Republican
NH primary election "machine effect" CAN be explained by precinct
sizes (Romney did better in less rural areas).
Our official announcement will probably be on Monday and will include
links to other studies and articles.
