DU vote fraud hero Andy Stepheson is on HBO!!! "Hacking Democracy" documentary

I've been thinking a lot about Andy recently during this primary season. HBO is showing the documenty "Hacking Democracy" about problems with electronic voting machines post-2004 election. One piece of the doc is Bev Harris & BBV's efforts (talking to Dept of Elections people, finding poll tapes in the trash and so forth), and there's ANDY STEPNENSON helping her out.

Other pieces of the documentary showed Calif Sect'y of State cancelling Diebold; Howard Dean being shown how easy it was to change vote totals on the GEMS machine, David Cobb's calling for an Ohio recount, Kerry knowing the vote counts were wrong, and more.

This is a great documentary. I'd never heard of it before. It will re-play on HBO today and next week. Check it out if you haven't seen it.


For those who weren't here during the aftermath of the 2004 election, Andy Stepheson is a DU hero who worked with Bev Harris of Black Box Voting proving voter fraud. He died during the summer of 2005. His death is mentioned at the end of the documentary and there is a short clip of him speaking about his work being his legacy.

Thanks for letting us know that it is on HBO again. I wanted my son to see it the next time it was on. Every voter in this country should watch it.

If it is so obvious she is a grifter, then there should be solid proof without a million irrelevant comments to weed through.

If she is so bad, if this has been proven, there would be no need to keep making ad hominems against her.

Who are these election reform luminaries you speak of who think she is a grifter? What are their great contributions to making sure elections are legit?

Please provide a few solid chunks of evidence. Maybe this thing can be worked out once and for all.

Aren't you worried that the more she is attacked, folks will begin to wonder about who exactly has been trying to ruin her reputation?

Attacks without proof backfire. I am not looking for links with 2000 posts either. If folks can provide solid proof of their claims, I will be open-minded enough to look at them.

I've read through tons of the old threads, and not once did I see any evidence that Bev Harris was involved with Scamdy.com.

With the fact that Pennsylvania is facing November with 51 of our most populous counties on paperless DREs, the recent SCOTUS decision that will put the kibosh on pretty much any election reform legislation at federal OR state level, and my own personal problems, I have never, ever felt more alone since the morning of November 3, 2004.

BTW, I have now moderated discussions of UNCOUNTED more than a dozen times. And, every time, the audience has said that your part of the film (where you discuss the 42% to 80% undervotes in PA precincts) was the most easily-understood, convincing and impossible-to-explain away portion of the entire documentary.

My state is in a total fog of denial about our hopelessly lousy voting machines, my family situation with my poor dear mother is a mess, and I have to either get hired by someone to keep doing what I'm doing (would make someone a really good employee if I do say so myself, lol) or I have to find some funding so my group can pay me at least a small salary or I am sunk.

Other than that, I'm FINE, lol.
