Let's take action!!

I see a lot of talk about people who say that we need to take to the streets and be proactive in our efforts. However, I am left wondering how many plan to attend the Fight for Democracy Rally this Saturday, December 4th? Click here for the link:

So, tell me -- how many of you DUers are going to put your money where your mouth is and attend?

I'll be there and I have to drive all the way from Southwestern Oklahoma!

So many are pissed, but who's going to take action!

should try to gather people in their own communities Saturday afternoon to bring attention to the Ohio rally and recount!

I think we should all put a "DU" on our signs so we can identify each other.

since I live in Columbus, I posted AIR AMERICA AM 1240 below it, so people could tune in to the word. I also have a Rally Poster in my car window.

THANKS S + F ! the repugs want us to roll over and forget it. More and more people are falling wayside. Soon they too will be pod people as well-shopping-moving on-quting the repug manta-Hail to the profit margin. WE CAN'T LET THIS HAPPEN!!!

I am going to try to get my brother to take me. I'm going to tell him "Ukrainian's are standing out in the cold, day in, day out, tirelessly marching for something we pass over because we are to tired and unmotivated to fight."

He probably won't, because he can't afford it, and neither can I, but it is worth a try:)

Those of you who CAN afford it, please get out there and fight for people like my best friend, a single mother who had to pull her daughter out of school because "No child left behind" left her daughter without bus service. How can she ever get a job when she has to homeschool her child?

Or do it for people like my former employer who can no longer use his arms or legs. Through the slow increase of expenses in his life, he can barely break even month by month, and he may have to be moved to a nursing home. He is only 48.

Do it for the people who are confined to nursing homes. Due to cuts in their budgets, nursing homes are understaffed, so only those that have family who can sue are effetively taken care of.

If not for them, do it for yourself, I don't care how rich you are, it could be YOU begging a nurse for a drink of water one day.

I will take a few more months of consternation before four more years of THIS thank you very much!!!!

Tell ya what, set up a donation fund for expenses and some of us will pony up a few bucks to help those who can make it.

Now, if I lived in Ohio, I'd be there by now.

And had a job and a car, LOL! I will have a job in a month though so don't worry about me, I'm okay. I am worried abut those who aren't so lucky:(
