Interesting interview with Chris Plummer re: Heath Ledger
Definitely makes it look like walking pneumonia played a huge part in his death. Didn't Jim Henson suffer from walking pneumonia before his organs eventually shut down?

3. Some people like a relief from 24/7 Hillary and Obama
bashing. Heath seemed like such a nice person with lots of talent, I find it sad.

8. That's why I posted it here and not in GD or even the lounge
I actually hadn't seen the Montel video before posting this. He was great.

5. How about I post it in the entertainment section of DU?
Would that satisfy your knee jerk hysteria? Oh wait, I did post it in the "Entertainment" section of DU. If you don't care, why did you expend the calories to opent the thread and post a response.

9. I thought it was interesting because of the sensationalization of the story
Was it drugs, was it suicide? It may simply be that the guy was really sick. This time of year a lot of people are walking around with bronchitis and all kinds of shit. I have a really bad cold right now. Better believe I'm staying home and getting over it. Alot of people can't, and they need to be careful.

10. It certainly was an interesting interview
I wasn't aware of the Terry Gilliam movie, which sounds like it would've been great. I loaned my copy of "The Brothers Grimm" to friends who weren't familiar with Ledger's work because I thought he gave a terrific, energetic performance in what would've been a minor role for some other actor. I figured he was going to be another big star in the style of the great Spencer Tracy. And the point should be taken that no matter how young and healthy someone is, they can be brought down pretty easily if they don't take enough care. Some flu viruses, IIRC, are hardest on folks in their twenties that are in otherwise good health. We should all be getting more rest.

Thanks for posting this. I would not have run across the interview on my own.
