Has anyone ever wondered, if we have so many people disagreeing about
the interpretation of our Constitution which was written over two hundred years ago, how can we be so sure about the interpretation of the bible?

3. The interpretation of the Bible is the basis of every christian sect.
Protestants and Catholics do not interpret the Bible in the same way.

5. You would hardly notice that the Catholics interpret the bible differently
than the Protestants judging by the way they've agreed with them politically for the last ten years.

7. You know, I had to chuckle when I heard one of the latest right-wing screeds
trying to pass a laws so that foreign law would never legally bind the U.S. 'Cuz, I was thinking to myself, does that include the Magna Carta because some of our property laws suck.

10. Isn't the point elsewhere?
That is, aren't most people with an interpretation of the US Constitution convinced that theirs is the One True Construction?
