3. Reaction is staged.
Too many angles and move in close-ups to be real.

4. I felt bad for her.
What might've started out as a funny joke, to me, was cruel.

No matter what we think of religion, it's still something that's dear to her heart & I find it cruel for her friends to do something so severe. It's akin to joking & telling her that her parents died.

It's a concept you think & joke about what & how it would happen. I've done that. But to actually pull this prank off, well, imo, she didn't deserve being frightened.

6. And it's not cruel to separate mother from child?
And children from their culture? It's not cruel to make the benefits of civilisation and even life itself dependent upon apostasy?

1500 years of genocide in Christ's name isn't cruelty?

She might not have deserved it. What she represents most certainly did.

7. I can't argue against anything you say.
It's just my humane instincts that made feel for her.

I will admit, though, that if this joke were played on the likes of, say, Pat Robertson, my humanity wouldn't be bothered a bit.

8. 'what she represents' = Christianity?
so... if I am reading you correctly, you are one of those mythical denizens of the R/T who thinks Christianity has nothing positive to offer?

10. Not at all. However, it is very much my opinion that those positives are not...
...worth the price paid for them over the centuries.
