A poem about Intelligent Design
Evidence of the Creator’s Handiwork
by RockyABQ

Thank you, Lord, for cancer, flu,
For athlete’s foot and typhus too.
Your wondrous world with birth defects,
And ticks and strokes is so complex.

I marvel at your pedophiles,
And mumps sure does elicit smiles.
Your greatest feat -- the tornadoes
Are right up there with lava flows.

I simply love my varicose veins,
And thank you for the hurricanes.
The miracle of gum disease
Goes hand-in-hand with cavities.

My urinary incontinence
Compliments my flatulence.
Chickenpox is a grand thing,
As is, I f-feel, my st-stuttering.

8. That's why I call him the Old Man with a Sour Stomach.
What an asshole. He"creates" us, supposedly knows our every thought. Knows what we're gonna do because he pre-destined it, then he gets all pissy when we go ahead and do what he KNEW we going to do since he PROGRAMMED it into us in the first place...Then he makes our descendents pay, and pay, and PAY for HIS mistake...


Gawd is like some spoiled 12-y-o who goes screaming at his mom because he can't create an Atom Bomb with his "Junior Research Tech" kit in his bedroom.

Or she found his collection of J-O Hentai...

As a surgeon who peers into gawd's greatest creation on a daily basis, the only thing I can conclude is that gawd is an asshole. Gallstones, the appendix, hernias, aneurysms, very sensitive testicles hanging out in the open in an ugly hairy sack, what the fuck was he thinking?

As one surgeon once said; Why should I worship god on Sunday, I spend the entire week fixing his mistakes?

I would think it would be evidence (to believers) that god IS a woman, or has never been hit in the nuts. If it were me designing man, I'd have another skull down there around my nuts.

Evidence of BAD design all around us, but we don't hear much about that from the IDers. Doesn't fit with their "theory" very well - they have to invoke a specific god to try and remedy it (Adam & Eve, "the fall," etc.), which is a big NO-NO that they learned from the days when they tried to push biblical creationism into the schools.
