My Later Day Saint friend whose life centers around her Dad and Family.
It's sweet to see that kind of family relationship.

Interesting that she disagrees with Dad about GWB. She doesn't approve of GWB. They don't fight about it, but it is interesting that in an otherwise completely harmonious relationship, that there could be this un-deniable difference about something, someone - GWB.

Harebo!

1. Harmonious living isn't based on agreeing on everything.
It's based on love and respect and valuing the relationship more than one values one's need to mold people to one's own liking.

If a relationship is based on agreeing on everything, it will not, in fact, ever be harmonious - it will be politely civil, fake, dishonest, and unhealthy.

(p.s., it's Latter Day, not Later Day :-) )

3. Yes of course.
I just thought that it was a mark of the profound importance of questions about GWB, given the complete dependence she has with her Dad in almost all other matters.

4. It's telling, I think. Doesn't LDS tend to stress obedience to paternal
authority? I'm sure that's not always the case, but since this family appears so united in other ways, it seems significant to break on one point.
