Some thoughts you may enjoy

These come from "The Bowl of Saki" by Pir-o-Murshid Inayat Khan. Basically, they are "thoughts for the day", words to contemplate. Several recent ones I have found timely, and wish to share:


When power leads and wisdom follows, the face of wisdom is veiled and she stumbles.
When wisdom leads and power follows, they arrive safely at their destination.


Selfishness keeps man blind through life.


Nobody appears inferior to us when our heart is kindled with kindness and our eyes are open to the vision of God.


For every soul the final victory in the battle of life comes when he has risen above the things which he once most valued.


Man's whole conduct in life depends upon what he holds in his thought.




Some timely words which may help us through these interesting times. Thank you for reading them.

It focuses our own shortcomings and those who pretend to be leaders. The Bush administration is actively "anti wisdom".

we were born this way.... perhaps we are, then there's the programming of consumerism we receive like it or not.
