Why don't Republicans understand that proxy wars are im-moral?
Edited on Mon Jun-19-06 10:31 PM by patrice
Jon Stewart just re-ran some Republican snippettes from last week.

The war in Iraq is our war. It was not necessary. We chose it. And we want other people to do the dying elsewhere.

These Republicans are TRULY moral midgets.

Where is the courage, where is the strength, where is the value in saying something is worth this as long as it is someone else and elsewhere?

It is disgusting.

These people are leading us!!!!!!!!!!!!

2. It is just so surprising that they apparently have no idea how
repugnant that is every time they say it.

It's like someone with cancer buying a slave to have dangerous surgery to become a quadruple amputee and take life threatening chemo and rejoicing that the pain isn't happening to you.

I don't want war here either, but if the goal isn't important enough to justify that, why are we doing it?

4. Who floated the notion it was invented here?
Besides you? If you don't think it's immoral, just say so.
