Pretty big night in Boston
Bruins v. Flyers, B's are up 3-0 and could close out the series to reach the conference finals for the first time since 1992.

Cavaliers v. Celtics, series tied 1-1, LeBron's elbow is a big question mark, so...

Yankees v. Red Sox, well...that's all there is to say.

:)

5. Yeah, we know
it's time for folks in Boston to start jumping on the bandwagon.

This city is full of nothing but front runners.

completely classless the entire series.

17. Yeah, near-total domination isn't classy
But it is fun to watch.

See you back home. :)

It'll be nicer to win on home ice anyway.

19. How so?
Seriously, I've watched all the games and neither team has done anything classless. It's been solid playoff hockey throughout.

22. Exactly...this has been a fairly tame series given the team's histories.
I think our forum comrade is a little bitter at how the series is unfolding so far.

25. It's not really the B's style anymore.
Edited on Sat May-08-10 01:24 PM by Forkboy
Then can play physical, and do well when they do, but their focus is always on discipline first and foremost. Their game doesn't depend on antagonizing anyone on the other team, it's all about what THEY do, not what the other team does. I love the approach, despite my love for the Big Bad Bruins of old. That style doesn't cut it anymore in the NHL, and with powerplays as deadly as ever taking dumb penalties is just shooting yourself in the foot.

The Flyers have a couple of guys who have to play on the edge to be effective (Carcillo #1 amongst them), but they've been reserved so far. Hell, even Pronger is a playing like a Lady Bing finalist! :)

27. LMAO
I'd take him on the B's anyday. A player I love to hate but would love to have. Adam Foote is another just like him. Borderline dirty, no doubt, but damned effective.

Seems to happen a lot.
