Pablo in 4th place in early All star voting..
The affectionately nicknamed "Kung Fu Panda" ranked fourth among National League third basemen in the opening All-Star voting update announced Tuesday. Sandoval had 160,179 votes, trailing Philadelphia's Placido Polanco (309,458), the New York Mets' David Wright (236,387) and Milwaukee's Casey McGehee (185,312).

-----

Sandoval might have to pick up his performance to gain election to the July 13 Midsummer Classic at Angel Stadium. He entered Tuesday batting .282 with three home runs and 14 RBIs.

If this year's anything like 2009, Sandoval should make a strong All-Star push next month. Last June, he hit a National League-high .394 with eight home runs and 20 RBIs.

Right now I'd say Pablo isn't deserving of an All Star nod, but he's still got time. Lets just hope he doesn't get cheated like last year.

Btw, Ryan Zimmerman sits a pathetic 7th.

1. It's a popularity contest dominated by the "big market" teams.

2. How many times have I voted so far?
Only 25. I would need to break out another email address to vote more. Which I may do, that has yet to be determined...

15. Hmm the fact that until about 2 weeks ago
He had a hamstring that kept him out of the regular line up probably had something to do with it.

16. If the Panda is a professional, he has to be embarrassed
by people like you. Do you stalk any players?

This is not the first time I've had to remind you of the rules regarding MLB All Star voting. Obviously, you must be well under the age of ten yourself, as your reading skills are somewhat suspect..

Maybe you are old enough to work for ES&S or Diebold.

Sorry, Douche.

14. I was always torn.
Part me wanted them to get the fuck off the ice so the hockey could begin, and part me enjoyed watching them practice. :)

Seriously though, the shit they do is amazingly impressive. There's nothing easy about anything on ice, but they make it seem that way. Kerrigan was the best known, but I watched a ton of amazing figure skaters.

But, losers like they are, they still had all their teeth! ;)
