"Former Miami Dolphins safety and Florida Gators great Jarvis Williams has died of an apparent heart attack at 45, according to a source close to Williams.
Drafted in the second round in 1988, Williams teamed with Gators teammate Louis Oliver as the safety tandem for the Dolphins from 1989-1993."

"Williams, from Palatka, Fla., enjoyed a six-year NFL career with the Dolphins and New York Giants, but he also did some major damage in the Southeastern Conference.
The University of Florida inducted Williams into its Athletic Hall of Fame in 2001 after his impressive career that included 45 games between 1984-87, 239 tackles and 10 interceptions.
Williams, who turned 45 on May 16, becomes the third former Dolphins player to die this month, all at age 45 or younger. Nick Rogers died in a car crash on May 4 at age 30, and Norman Hand died on May 14 at 37."
