Which Marlins firesale is worse?
The 1998 one after the team of mercs was broken up or this one in which all the good youngsters are sold off?

1. the last one
this sell off is completely legitimate. The Marlins spent a bunch of money last year putting a decent product on the field and no one showed up to watch their team. That franchise needs to move. Miami just isn't a good market for baseball.

2. I would agree...though I find it painful....
The Marlins have been a decent competing team for 4 years now with a World Championship under their belt. With attendance figures what they are I would have to agree that baseball and Miami don't mix.

I just hate seeing a team get rid of so much good young talent alha the Expos in the mid to lat 90's....espcially when its the Mets that get them

5. This one, right now.
No offense, guys, but I think you got ripped off in the Beckett/Lowell trade.
