this sell off is completely legitimate. The Marlins spent a bunch of money last year putting a decent product on the field and no one showed up to watch their team. That franchise needs to move. Miami just isn't a good market for baseball.
The Marlins have been a decent competing team for 4 years now with a World Championship under their belt. With attendance figures what they are I would have to agree that baseball and Miami don't mix.
I just hate seeing a team get rid of so much good young talent alha the Expos in the mid to lat 90's....espcially when its the Mets that get them :evilgrin:
