I can't handle being a Toronto Maple Leaf fan anymore!!!
Another game, another loss....this time to Buffalo. Quinn has lost this team. He's lost them. They are a collection of individuals, and not a team. Quinn looks more and more like a tired old man, pretty much disinterested on the bench, with no fire in the belly. It's reflected on the ice. Time to blow up the team, the coaching staff, and the front office. New ownership would be nice too!!;-)

Meanwhile the other Garden team, the Rangers are doing great! 3rd Place in the Conference! Damn! Let's go Rangers!

3. Yeah, that's right!!
But at least we had Gilmour on our team back then, and the Sabres weren't wearing those hideously coloured and designed jerseys they wear nowadays!;-)

Domi made that dirty hit against the Devils in the playoffs and when they traded Cujo.

They're a dirty team. I lived in Toronto for four years and used to like them. I loved Wendell Clark. Now, they're thugs. But look at their coach'splaying career, that says it all.

Funny thing is, I still like Domi, for some reason.

5. Mostly, I find it amazing what they've gotten out of their players...
...during the Quinn era. Except for this year, look at the win/loss record. It is impressive. A couple trips to the final four, not able to get over the hump though. Mostly playoff underachievement. No bonafide star players. That includes Sundin. He's a very good player, with no one to play with. But he's not, and has never been, a star player. His offensive stats bear that out. I don't know about karma, cuz if there was any, Scott Stevens wouldn't have any Stanley Cup rings, instead of three. IMO.

7. Domi forever gets a pass from me for taking out Ulf Samuelsson.
I wish someone would do the same to Darcy Tucker.

9. Yeah, I hear ya!
What excuse does either Toronto or Chicago have for not winning the cup at least once since the 1960's?!! It's bullshit I tells ya. ;-)

10. They won a game!!!!
And I had second row seats(*)!!!! A truly great contest(**)!!!!!

* Second row from the back, that is.
** Great except for the how-not-to-execute-a-power-play clinic in the 2nd period.
