The Steelers/Jets Game Thread
I figured instead of having a few posts here and there flying arounda bout the game... perhaps, we could all post our thoughts on the game in this thread when it comes on, keep things organized and such...

With that being said, watch this thread get no responses at all :P


Oh yah... Go Steelers.. not a huge fan of them... but for whatever reason.. I've always had this evil evil enjoyment of watching the Jets crash and burn. }(

giving the Jets a holding penalty and ignoring the interference on Crebet.

Gee, it'd be nice to have a game where the players decide the outcome and not the referees. Fucking Steelers and their paid-off referees.

So what did you guys think????

I didn't think at all the game would be tied going into the second half...

In all honesty.. I think the Jets probably should have the lead (If they only had caught that pass for the TD earlier)... but with that being said.. I still can't believe it's tied..... gentlemen we have a football game.

The Steelers Defense hasn't been as dominant as I thought they would be either... The Jets have been making some good runs and such.. but only ten points... enough to tie the game though. Roeth doesn't seem to be "on" either... anyone else share that observation?

19. Steelers flat in first series. Jets look SHARP.
They are flying to the ball and making plays. Pittsburgh hasn't played from this position. They have never had to deal with the wheels coming off, and if it starts to happen...

I predicted the Steelers and I must stand by that but damn... Ben's just so unimpressive at this moment.. and I'm not saying that just because of the interception for the T.D (The fact there was no Steelers in position to stop that T.D Run just embarassing)... Just throughout the whole game.. he hasn't been handling things well.

i almost turned this game off in the first quarter .. i'm the world's worst "fair weather" fan ...

is it just possible that this heroic effort will succeed ...

the jets need to burn some serious clock and come away with at least a field goal ... they can't get too conserative on this drive ...

oops ... spoke too soon ... fourth down ... one more "hold" and burn some clock ...

ahh, the low stress joys i could have if the pats and jets both advance ... it would be like a week off ... a guaranteed super bowl appearance by one of my teams ...

As I stated... I love watching the Jets crash and burn.. but I don't feel all uppity about this.... despite the Steelers being my pick.. I don't feel like standing up and cheering...

The Steelers didn't impress me at all in this game..... They won because the Jets ran out of gas... This was after all their third overtime game in a row... I feel confident in the Steeler's demise next week against the winner of the Pats/Colts

Bottom line is we won but the Jets played a great game. I was impressed but not sad because I'm still coming out of shock and can't feel anything. *gasp*

Trash talk isn't necessary and I don't see how anyone can talk trash after THAT game. In fact, I don't know how anyone can talk. LOL

Props to the Jets but I'll gladly take the win. Now fans from the Steelers and the Jets could do with a stiff drink.
