Corey Dillon has NEVER played well against the Steelers.
And the NE O-Line sucked against the Steelers earlier in the year.

So tell me how this game will be different?

1. Corey Dillon used to play for the Bungles
'nuff said.

You can bet that Belichek and Crennel are going over Big Ben films with a microscope today.

3. Shannon Sharp has a big mouth
If anyone thinks Corey Dillon will be able to rack up all those yards on our Steelers, they are nuts.

GO STEELERS!

6. I'm not kissing NE butt
I'm just looking at reality. I live in Florida, and I'm originally from Cleveland. I've been cheering for the Steelers ever since the Browns self-destructed this year. I can't stand Belichek.

But if I have to place a wager, it's going on NE.

8. The Pats are going to do what the Steelers did in 2001 I bet
Everyone already is handing them the trophy they might just forget they have to beat the Steelers.

13. The Steelers got the game they needed Saturday
They were very unprepared and looking past the Jets. They didn't understand where they were and how the Jets couching had a few peoples numbers as well as they did. The Rookie and another Bettis fumble almost lost the game. Even us casual fans know such foolishness again will never cut it with a team like the Pats.

I don't think Pitt paying big bucks for Duce Staley was an accident. A good run game is the a necessity of a strong fast defense. N.E. needs to hope to keep the NFL's #1 defense off the field by scoring lots of points early. If it goes visa-versa they will loose. I will bet the team with the most points at the end of the first quarter will be the winner. If it's 3 to 3 at the half, I will say it's Pat's game to loose. The Steelers will have the work cut out for them on special teams also.

I holding out for the Steelers, they seem to be the lucky ones that have stood up in the end during close ones like this one will probably be. I hope others keep up talking up the the Patts and some of the Patts team talk some stupid trash. The Burg has been humbled by the Jets and will have keep hold to put all theirs on the field Sunday afternoon

10. good luck with the wishful thinking

Lessee...Dillon played against the Steelers with...oh yes, the Bengals. Now there's a bunch of stats that are incredibly relevant now.

The New England O-line stunk against the Steelers...in a game in which they had replacement ends. In a game in which it's not clear they set out to win as much as just look respectable and take an excusable away game loss, but rather ungraciously got jumped on.

14. Two things:
1) Corey Dillon played for the Cincinnati Bungles for the first 7 years of his career. Those guys would have had trouble against a Pop Warner team.

2) He didn't play against the Steelers the first time around, and trust me--Bill Belichick learns from his mistakes.

15. There is not a lot to think about when they are running the ball
other than screen pass or a Plexico going over the top when you get winded. The Steelers are in N.E. head already, them gracefull endings were just more of it for them.

I would also rather be in that humble pair of shoes wondering how I got here, than going into someone else's house talking about how great I was with the last win my team had.

The aggressor is often at a disadvantage in unperfect conditions

17. You got that right, my wife the Steeler fan, has got that down to the tee
I, mostly a Raider fan, enjoy a good smash mouth. She hoped the Jets kicker would make it so she wouldn't be embarrassed by the game they played (I was laughing my ass off about it). I think the redemption thing will come into play on both side this Sunday no matter who wins.

That tuck rule they made for Brady in de facto a couple years ago was pretty neat too, the bad thing is the Steelers also live and play in the snow

18. Dillon never had Brady as his QB
in Cincy. Brady is going to light up the Steelers this week.
