Actually, I shouldn't laugh at you guys because that's mean.
Best of luck with Pedro, but, oh boy.
Here's what to expect, just so you know:
--Bottom of the 9th in Philadelphia, only one out.
--Atlanta 5 , Phillies 4
--The bases are loaded for Philly!! Pedro is coming up.
--At the very least, all the Phillies need is a sac fly to tie! A walk would work also!
COME ON PEDRO, YOU CAN DO IT!! :bounce:
And the pitch, grounded to short, second for one, on to first, double play....Brave win.
"BOOOOOOOOOO" say the Philadelphia fans
That is the kind of situation that will happen a lot because Pedro cannot deliver when he's needed most. There's not an outside curve ball he doesn't love to swing at and miss....AND he swings at the first pitch most of the time in any situation. He hardly ever walks.
But when the score is Braves 15, Phillies 2 in the 9th?
You can count on Pedro hitting a meaningless grand slam.
He'll pad his stats that night -- the sports talk show on W(whatever the station is) will be buzzing with optimism until the next time Pedro come to bat in a clutch situation and he fails like usual.
I will say he seems like a good guy and never complains.
But never-the-less, thank the Lord the Pedro Feliz nightmare is over for Giants fans.
