1. Probably rubbing some "cream" on his head hoping that this disaster will end.
Aren't they playing the Natinals tonight?

2. Oh another Barry Bonds shot.
That's okay. You watch after Barry is acquitted, everyone will be saying, yea, we really should have been focused on other individuals .. you know, the ones who have admitted to intentionally taking banned substances like Alex Rodriguez and Manny Ramirez.

Barry has never violated a single baseball rule. Please show me where baseball has punished him.

3. Hmm. You protesteth too much.
Regardless of an aquittal, Bonds has admitted he used PED's. PERIOD. You can quibble over the knowingly/unknowingly bullshit, but if Bonds was really not bright enough to figure out what the hell was going on, then he is even less intelligent than you are.

At least A-Roid and M-roid have "manned-up" and admitted to their mistakes.

4. Oh, so now Bonds
isn't "bright enough" for you. I'm sure Bonds, as a black man, has heard that kind of nonsense before.

6. Off the topic
but check this out mad...I've got the Red Sox game on and they've scored 12 runs in the 6th inning without an out being recorded.

7. Ok. That's an interesting little factoid. I don't have the baseball records
book in front of me, so I don't know if that is a record.

BTW, nice changing of the subject.

9. It tied a major league record
and I thought you were a sports fan...when something of note takes place, in my REAL sports fan opinion it takes precedence over the Bonds argument which can be resumed at any time.

10. And I'm sure you will resume it shortly.
My baseball record book is upstairs. I rely on paper records and don't have it downloaded yet, unlike cboy.

20. I saw on espn, it tied a MLB record.
The '53 Dodgers also scored 12 runs before recording an out...

Unless you want to go back to the 1883 White Stockings who scored 13 before their first out.

I just got back from the game a little while ago, it was great to watch.

21. Good point bud.
I'm not even sure the Pirates have scored 12 runs this week, let alone in one inning.

8. No excuses
He's an idiot, just like Barry Bonds. All roiders should be banned for life, including Manny and Barry. Unlike you and upton I don't have double standards. I don't make excuses like you two and play the race card and cry and bitch about it ad nauseum*.

Luckily the deep Dodgers bench will provide. Juan Pierre is more than able to replace Banny. He doesn't have the power of course but he's a very good hitter with blazing speed. I don't see the Dodgers slowing down a bit. They did fine on the games that he was resting on the bench.

You can stop peeing your pants now your midgets won't have to face Manny this weekend.

12. I've got an idea...lets check out the standings
of the 3 way variety:

Giants...14-13

Pirates..12-16 (that good start is but a memory)

Nationals..7-18 (garbage in garbage out)

13. Interestingly, the giants have played most of their games against
the weak western division, whilst the Pirates have been playing against the much more competitive Central Division.

Once again you are twisting the facts.

15. The Nationals?
The Dodgers are still the class of the west...but Manny's loss is going to be felt financially as much as anything.

16. Huh? That is classic dumbassery! Why don't you just say that
the Dodgers are the best in the west. If the Dodgers continue on their run, how is it going to be financial, other than the $7.5M they save while he is out.

Once again, classic dumbassery from cboy/upton.

17. Dodger attendance increased last year
after Manny joined the team. I suspect Manny's loss will have the opposite effect, not just on attendance but related sales...concessions, souvenirs etc..and every business that makes money locally from Dodger fans..resteraunts, bars etc. It'll be a kind of mini Manny recession as 28 of the 50 games he is suspended for are at home.

The Dodgers have built a whole promotional campaign around Ramirez. I check out their games occasionally plus I have the LA local channels and the Dodger commercials are all about..come see Manny, not come see the Dodgers.

25. You have no idea what a major marketing tool Manny is.
There are Mannywood signs everywhere you look throughout LA.

There's really no other reason to go to Dodger Stadium. They've only been drawing about 30,000 a game this week during their winning streak any way.

No Kuroda soon and we'll need Kemp, Loney or Martin to really break out or we're fucked.
