Giants humble Cards 5-3
Rich Aurilia hit his first HR of the season to give the streaking Giants the lead for good..in taking 2 out of 3 from St.Louis, they have now won 5 of 6. On a related note, the Mets defeated the hapless Marlins 3-2.

2. I know the Cubs are having trouble
scoring runs and have been beset by injuries but they're still only 4 games back...they've got the most talent, I bet they eventually heat up and win the division.

4. I was hoping for the Cubs to beat the Dodgers tonight
but with it 8-0 in the bottom of the 6th..doesn't look like it's going to happen.
