Facebook discussion on Obama FB page about assault on FL teachers!

Go to this link and join the discussion about Senate Bill 6 in the state of Florida. Please tell 10 teachers and tell them to tell 10 more. This impacts you whether you live in Florida or not.

We are under attack by the Republican legislature and Republican governor. Please tell Obama to help us stop SB 6 or forget about giving Florida any RTTT grant money!!! Please tell Obama to stand up for one of his constituencies, teachers, who helped him get elected. Please tell him to tell the state government of Florida to work WITH its teachers and not against them.

This bill is really bad news. I thought we had it bad before, but if this bill passes it will be the end of public education as we know it. They better hurry up with the student loan forgiveness I had heard President Obama mention. No teacher should keep paying for a diploma that would be worthless. I think I'll send my $250 a month bill over to Thurman's office and let him pay for it.
