Gay waiters and bigot politicians

I'm trying to imagine David Duke being stupid enough to go to dinner at a black owned and operated establishment. Not that they would do anything dangerous or life threatening to him, simply that you would think he would steer clear of the situation if for no other reason than the possibility of never seeing his food or even being served.

So when someone like Virginia Foxx goes out to dinner- how is it that the legion of gay restaurant owners and servers in Washington DC don't concern her in the slightest?

When I was in college, I waited on an anti-gay politician at dinner once. I dragged my feet, and made some "mistakes" in the order, but I regret to this day not simply refusing to serve him, or better yet accidentally knocking over the water glasses on the table. I really didn't need the job badly enough to worry about the consequences.

At a minimum, one could return the credit card receipt completed with a line drawn through the tip and whispering to the customer - "I have zeroed out the tip, I only served you because I am required to do so."

I would have given him a big kiss on the way out though!

I would've given the table to another waiter. I'm too afraid of what I would do in a situation like that.

No matter how much anyone angers me I would never do something like that. I do not know anyone who would. True, I'm sure it does happen, but the vast majority of people would never sink to that level.

Only human trash would soil a persons meal like that. This is one of my biggest pet peeves. If you have a problem with someone, then man up and confront them. I can't stand passive aggressive BS.

When I was a squad leader in the Marine Corps, I had to severely discipline (okay I smacked the shit out of this kid)a guy for wiping a fellow Marines canteen top with his scrotum. To me, only the lowest form of humans resort to this type act. They think they are getting over, but they are really just debasing themselves.

Well a knife, surely.

Other than that, we'll just have to wait on the testimony of gay waiters who have had the pleasure of serving her, to hear how they have responded to having to wait on such an illustrious guest at their table.

I bet she tips 10%. If she tips.

And where else would Virginia get some o' that Eye-talyan food?

The kitchen staff was much less (maybe 20% at the most), but the front of the house was made up of about 50% straight, sorority-girls, 40% gay or bi guys, and 10% straight (but GLBT friendly) guys.

With the tips they're bringing in, it's like a license to print money!

Same with the Red Lobster that just opened here a couple of months ago.

the food isn't bad and it's better than fast food

but I do remember one time when a couple of guys came in, and I didn't think twice until about five minutes later when I noticed that one of them had several swastikas worked in among his tattoos.

Needless to say, I hurried their order along just to get them out of there. Didn't feel too comfortable with them there. Especially since we had a black employee working that day, and I didn't know how long it would take for him to get back from his delivery run.
