3. Well good for David!
But the article says he's never been to a gay bar...I could have sworn the Revolver was a gay bar...ah well, he can relax at long loving last. Good for him. Love his work.

4. Woot...
I love his stuff, especially the voice-overs he's done for some of the cartoons I enjoy.

5. Good for him!
My husband tells me we saw him in a play once in San Diego, which I don't remember at all. My husband *never* remembers stuff like that, so he must really like DOS. Hubby says "good for him!" as well.

8. Really? Nifty. I met him once.
My high school choir almost always got invited to sing at the Candlelight Processional at EPCOT every year. It's a holiday-themed performance that runs every night from late November/early December to right before New Years day. They have numerous school choirs a night form one gigantic choir, along with Disney's own choir (usually in green robes forming a christmas tree shape in the middle of the choir) and led by a Disney orchestra and the Voices of Liberty. And they have a famous guest narrator to link each song together cohesively. The only ones I particularly remembered meeting were LeVar Burton (I'm a nerd, what do you expect? :P) and David Ogden Stiers(who, coincidentally, was in an episode of Star Trek with Levar Burton). I'd never really watched M*A*S*H or Ally McBeal or any other show he was on at the time, so I mostly knew him from his excellent voice acting.

I finally got around to sitting down and watching M*A*S*H about a year and a half ago... from beginning to end. And I have to say, the episode with him and the injured piano player ("Morale Victory". According to IMDB its on TVland tomorrow at 5, catch it if you can. And again next Friday at 6 on the Hallmark channel :) ) never fails to bring tears to my eyes.

12. An underrated actor
M*A*S*H* is my favorite show of all time, and Stiers was masterful as Major Winchester. I also enjoyed his role as the small town southern mayor in "Doc Hollywood" - both roles show the range of his comedic chops.

I wish him the best personally and professionally.
