I am marshalling two protests this weekend. You guys are invited to both!
Here are the details in case anyone wants to come along:

Thank You Governor Paterson Counter Rally
Anti-LGBT Groups to Rally Against Governor for Supporting Marriage Equality
Date: Sunday, May 17, 2009
Time: 1:00pm - 2:00pm
Location: Governor Paterson's Manhattan Office
Street: 633 Third Avenue, Between 40th and 41st Streets


(NOM is holding a protest of gov paterson's office, this is protesting NOM's Protest)

I'll have to skip this weekend. I'm still packing and moving. :(

Those sound fun. I wish I could join you. Please get some pictures and post how it goes. :)

It is interesting that NOM is having their protest outside the governor's office on a Sunday when nobody will be there. I would have expected them to show up on a Monday.

6. Wish I could join you, but it's a busy weekend here in New Jersey.
Tonight we're collecting postcards at a carnival in Verona.

Saturday I'm one of the trainers for the postcarding we're doing at a street fair in Basking Ridge.

Sunday morning we'll be grabbing people to sign postcards at Newark Penn Station before they head into the City for the Walk.

And then Sunday night we'll be finding marriage equality supporters to sign postcards in Montclair as they wait in line to see the Shins.
