Help Get This Bill Passed, Or Don't Fall In Love
At least with someone who's not a US Citizen. Or you're planning to move.

The bill is called Uniting American Families Act of 2009. What it does is add the phrase "permanent partner" to the same places where the word "spouse" is used. This would allow a person to sponsor someone who is either a "spouse" or a "permanent partner."

As introduced to the House of Reps, it is H.R. 1024.
As introduced to the Senate, it is S. 424.
