"So You Think You Can Dance" TV show first?
Two men dancing the Samba, pretty well, but they fell just toward the end...

Judges discussing it now, acknowledge that it would be controversial to some of the audience.

Denver preliminaries....Really hoping they get their ticket to move on...

But. Fuck.

Final decision: "I think we'd all like to see you both dancing with a girl."

:wtf:

1. ugh.
i think i'd like to wash that judges mouth out with soap.
Or at least tell his homophobic *** off in front of the audience.

4. I'm afraid they only showed this couple for the "spectacle" of it. Missed opportunity.
I must give Hollywood way too much credit.

First thinking that they might like to break new ground, I'm thinking they really just wanted to be sensational in including the nice guys trying to dance really well together.

Ugh...

2. beautiful spirit
Perhaps the only thing worthy of notice to me tonight was the handicapped girl. She was badly disfigured but so graceful and determined to give a good performance it brought tears to my eyes.

6. no she did not
The judges seemed to think it would be to hard on her. I wish they would have let her be the judge of that. She was very inspiring to me. I will never forget her or her dance but I probably won't remember anyone else I saw tonight.

5. After American Idol, does this really surprise you?
FOX doesn't seem to be the most gay-friendly network, does it?

8. This was worse, I think they included them just to trash them.
At least we got to see Adam all the way to the end.

And no, it doesn't surprise me but I was guardedly optimistic that if they were allowed to audition that they'd be allowed to move on.

But no, they were allowed to audition so that they could be subjected to the asshole judges' ridicule.

Worse, I think, than Adam losing.

7. Well, in the show they would have to dance with women partners
I didn't see anything especially ground breaking about two men dancing together. They were good, and it was intriquing how they switched the lead and then the follow. But I didn't think they were fantastic. They did move on to the second round.

I was suprised Lynel made such a big deal of it though. Hard to imagine people being offended by it.

9. falling is falling -- you don't fall in a dance competition.
they might STILL say -- rather see you dance with a woman -- but when you are really good and put it all out there -- oh they watch.
