Constance McMillen isn’t the only lesbian student in Mississippi facing discrimination at school. Ceara Sturgis, a student at Wesson Attendance Center, feels it too.

Earlier in the school year, Sturgis, a lesbian, asked her school to include a picture of her in the yearbook wearing a tuxedo rather than a dress. School officials balked.

The American Civil Liberties Union joined in the fight, sending a letter to the school demanding Sturgis’ tuxedo photo be used. The school still refused.

When Sturgis flipped through her high school yearbook, handed out last Friday, she found no reference to herself. No picture. No name. Nothing.

holier than thou assholes. Some of these school systems are just infested with them and they can't stay the hell out of anyone elses business.

They love to yammer endlessly about personal responsibility and personal liberty but they're always the first assholes out of the gate when it comes time to stomp the shit out of someone elses liberty.
