The Palm Springs Police Department is accused of discriminating while enforcing city laws.
These allegations stem from a police operation that led to the arrest of 24 men in Warm Sands last summer.
Officials say the men charged with indecent exposure were engaged in sexual conduct within 15 to 20 feet of a roadway in a parking lot.
Dave Erskine, a frequent visitor to Warm Sands, said he's seen people have sex behind bushes in the neighborhood. What he didn't know was the consequences of such behavior.>>> more
